This man is naked, he is bleeding, and he is living in a graveyard, and this is the man that meets Jesus when he steps of the boat on the other side. No wonder the Jewish people didn't cross the lake very often, this was the welcoming party. Jesus has crossed over to the other side, to the region of the "cast out ones".
