Paul says the god of this world has blinded those who don't believe. Did God blind them first or did they refuse the gospel and the Lord Jesus Christ and are turned over to the god of this world. They resisted the grace of God and have refused to yield to the evidence given which prove Jesus is the Christ. Namely the resurrection of our Lord.

Even after they had crucified our Lord, Peter's first sermon on the Day of Pentecost was to tell them that the promise was for them and their children and even those that are afar off. It wasn't too late. This great gospel is beyond human understanding.
