Rom 8:7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. Rom 8:8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. Rom 8:9 But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Religion is always trying to do a work to please God. The result is always the same. We run and hide from God.

Heb 9:8 The Holy Ghost this signifying, that the way into the holiest of all was not yet made manifest, while as the first tabernacle was yet standing. We are not sinners saved by grace. We need to take a fresh look at what Jesus accomplished in His death, burial, and resurrection.

Paul was given the ministry to bring the hearers to perfection of which the law could never do. Today, as soon as new believers come into the church, they are given new laws, church laws to try and bring them to perfection. This was Paul's argument in Galatians.

Forgiveness simply means to "send away" or "to release a person." When we forgive someone, we send them away and release them into the hands of God, the only Judge. In doing so, we are choosing to no longer be that person's judge.
